I John 4:1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

We are living in an exciting time right now. The Holy Spirit is imparting Christians to do the work Jesus has called us to do in the word. In the 90’s there was a mighty move of God and if you have been privileged to be a Christian during that time, your ministry was probably was as incredible as mine. But something happened after the 90’s…..it didn’t seem like the miraculous was happening any longer. It almost seemed like a dry time for the church. Well I am happy to say, the Lord is moving among his church today. He has begun pouring out his spirit on his children to do the work of the Lord. We are seeing people move in all areas on the gifts. God is healing his people and using Christians to pray for each other to see the sick healed and the dead raised. Could this be the last out pouring before the return of Christ? Maybe!

The outpouring in Lakeland is only just the beginning. The Holy Spirit has imparted an anointing among those who attended and then they have gone to their home towns and seen God continue it there. God is moving in Australia, England, Scotland, Whales, the US and so many other places. We are thanking God for this outpouring.

But a word of caution, as the scriptures state, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Satan is a live and well and is using so called ministers, prophets, and any other title they give themselves to give a counterfeit experience. Do not believe every teaching you hear. Seek out the truth, read the Word, be sensitive to the spirit of God and test it. Do not be led astray during this important time for the church. Do not be deceived by this movement of “not laying on of hands.” God has called us in James 4 to call on the elders of the church and lays hands on the sick.

Go forth – do his work!

Joel 2: 28 & 29

vs. 28 - “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.”

vs. 29 – “And also My menservants and My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”

GOD IS ALIVE AND WELL AND HE IS POURING OUT HIS SPIRIT ACROSS THIS NATION.

If you haven’t heard about the outpouring in Lakeland Florida, you need to check it out at the link below or you can watch it on God TV. There are services at 10am EST and 7:00pm EST. People are being saved, healed, delivered and there is an impartation that is going forth on God’s people – imparting them to reach the masses.

Not only is God moving in Florida, but he is moving in numerous states in the US and across Europe, Ireland, etc. People are coming to the Florida outpouring and taking the same spirit back to their homes and igniting their churches.

It’s an awesome time to be a child of the King. Everything we’ve been taught and prayed for is coming to pass and God is using his children! Wow! Get into the flow, seek him now, allow him to move in your life. These are the last days and He is pouring out His spirit.

Why Don't We Have the Fire?

I believe one reason we don't have the fire is that we really don't want it. Oh, we say that we do. But what too many of us really want is the kind of "fire" that will draw attention to our church, pack our auditoriums, increase our offerings, and solve all our problems. We don't want the fire that will consume, destroy, expose, root up, burn, and hurt. We're afraid of what might happen if God appeared on the scene. We want a tidy religious experience that we can control. Furthermore, we don't want the kind of preaching that precedes revival. I have found that many people want nothing but encouragement and "love" from the pulpit. They don't want the truth they want to feel good! Preaching on sin, repentance, holiness, brokenness, or confession is considered negative. I wish we were half as concerned about people having a proper view of God as we are about people having a proper view of themselves! Deceived by the world, our egocentric theology has become more concerned about self-image than about God's image.

I Thessalonians 2:4

vs. 4 - But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.

II Thessalonians 2:6-8

vs. 6 - since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,
vs. 7 - and give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
vs. 8 - in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I Peter 4:17

vs. 17 - For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
